As a child, I always loved going to the library. The smell of the books, the sound of the pages turning, and the feeling of being surrounded by knowledge were all things that I cherished. But what I loved most about the library was the librarian, Biscuit.
Biscuit was a kind and gentle woman who always had a smile on her face. She loved books just as much as I did, and she was always happy to help me find new ones to read. She would also let me sit at the front desk and read while she worked, and she would often tell me stories about the books she was reading.
Biscuit was the one who taught me to love reading, and she is the reason why I am the writer that I am today. I will always be grateful for her kindness and her love of books.

Why Biscuit Loves the Library
