This book collects the second half of Chris Claremont’s run on X-Treme X-Men, and it’s just as good as the first half. The stories are exciting, the characters are well-developed, and the art is stunning.
One of my favorite things about this book is the way Claremont explores the relationship between Cyclops and Jean Grey. They’re one of my favorite couples in comics, and Claremont does a great job of showing their love and support for each other. I also love the way he develops the characters of Storm and Gambit. They’re both complex and interesting characters, and Claremont does a great job of giving them depth.
The art in this book is also amazing. Salvador Larroca does a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life. His style is dynamic and expressive, and he really captures the emotion of the story.
