When I first picked up Earthside by Dennis E Taylor, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had heard good things about the book, but I wasn’t sure if it would be my cup of tea. I’m so glad I took a chance on it, though, because it quickly became one of my favorite sci-fi thrillers of all time.
Earthside is set in a future where humanity has colonized Mars. The story follows a group of scientists who are sent to Mars to investigate a mysterious anomaly. As they get closer to the truth, they find themselves in grave danger.
What I loved most about Earthside was the characters. Taylor did an amazing job of creating a cast of characters that were all complex and relatable. I found myself rooting for them all the way through.
