However, after having finished the part, I have come to the that Jotaro’s Part 6 figure is essential to the story.
Jotaro’s presence in Stone Ocean helps to provide a sense of continuity with the previous parts of the series. He is the only character who appears in all six parts, and his experiences in the previous parts help to inform his actions in Stone Ocean. For example, Jotaro’s defeat at the hands of Dio in Part 3 has left him with a deep sense of guilt, which he carries with him into Stone Ocean. This guilt motivates him to help Jolyne Kujo, his daughter, who is also being pursued by Dio.
