- Volunteer your time at your child’s school. There are many ways to get involved at your child’s school, even if you don’t have a lot of time. You can help with tutoring, reading to students, or just being a positive presence in the school community.
- Talk to your children about the importance of education. Let your children know that you value education and that you expect them to do their best in school. Encourage them to ask questions and to challenge themselves.
- Hold your elected officials accountable. Make sure your elected officials know that you care about education. Let them know that you expect them to support policies that invest in our schools and our students.
