When I first picked up Too Wild to Tame by Tessa Bailey, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had heard good things about the book, but I wasn’t sure if it would be my cup of tea. I’m so glad I took a chance on it, though, because it ended up being one of my favorite books of the year!
Too Wild to Tame is a historical romance set in the Regency era. The story follows Lady Olivia, a young woman who is determined to find a husband. She’s not interested in love or romance, she just wants someone to take care of her and give her a family. When she meets the Duke of Ashbury, she’s immediately attracted to him. But he’s not interested in marriage, and he’s determined to keep her at arm’s length.
Olivia and the Duke are two of the most stubborn characters I’ve ever read, but their chemistry is undeniable. They’re constantly fighting and arguing, but they can’t help but be drawn to each other. As they spend more time together, they start to realize that they might be falling in love after all.
Too Wild to Tame is a heartwarming and hilarious story about two people who are meant to be together. It’s a perfect read for anyone who loves a good romance novel.
